Christian Education

Linda Peters, Chair – Tess Pinkerton is the Sunday School Superintendent. This group is always looking for new Sunday school teachers – either on a regular basis or substitutes. You cannot imagine the joys you can get from teaching the children the old Bible stories and the questions the children can come up with. If you’re not sure about teaching you can come out and help – it’s a rewarding experience and Jesus told us to let the little children come to him!

Endowment Fund

Lynn Rhodes, Chair – Records gifts given to the church.

They decide the way the interest in the fund is spent. Interest earned is used to spread God's word.

Evangelism

Charlie Baun, Chair – This group meets every month on the second Monday. They look for ways to reach out into the community and serve others. They also try to find ways to bring Christ's word to others and invite them to join us in Worship.

Finance Committee

Jenn Schneider, Chair – Our church family gets together once a month to take food to Hope Lodge. AstraZeneca Hope Lodge is run by the American Cancer Society located at 110 W. Taking these families a home cooked meal helps to brighten their days and warms our members hearts.

Jeannette Daly & Jenn Schneider, Chairs This committee helps plan and run various special occasion functions. They handle refreshments after special services such as the Thanksgiving service and many other special services. Help with bringing and making food is always welcome.

Carol A. Dunn, Chair – Meet every third Tuesday at 11:30 am.
They gather and publish the church budget, set by each committee and manage church finances.

Maria Taylor, Chair. This wonderful group helps many families with bags of food all year round. They also collect and put together the Thanksgiving baskets and run the Christmas party. Help is always needed and appreciated. Jesus said, “When we help someone in need, we are helping and feeding Him.”

Martha's Circle

Our group meets at 12:00 noon on the 2nd Wednesday of each month. We bring our own lunch, coffee, tea and deserts are provided. We put meals together for ‘Aid for Friends’. At Christmas we sold German Christmas cookies and Fisher’s pot pies in the fall.  Please join us for fellowship as we help our homebound friends with home cooked meals. Even if you can’t make it every month, we’d love to have new members!

Library

Carol Dunn Chair – The library was invigorated with many newer books and they have book discussions every other month. The books that are being discussed are posted on the bulletin board and the group members bring a brown bag lunch with them. Their meetings start on the first Thursday of October, December, February, April and June at 11:00 am. Everyone is welcome to join in and get some new tips      on the best books to read.

Mission Outreach

This group decides what community outreach program to help. We have helped with A Mother's Home in Cambodia, Christ's Home for Children, Victory Outreach, and Samaritan's Purse with shoe box gifts, among other worthwhile projects. We welcome new members and new ideas. Please check the bulletin and calendar for meeting dates and times,

Lunch Brunch

Robert Murset, Chair – This group meets the 3rd Thursday of every month. The meetings start at 11:30 am with some entertainment and then leave the church for a different area restaurant each month. (Such as Lancaster or New York City) Friends and family are invited to join this fun group!
